Excellent Attendance Silver award presented to (name) for Full Attendance for 1st Term 2017/2018 Congratulations (principal) Signed On Wednesday morning we had a Skype call from a school in Kuwait! It is called The English Primary School in Kuwait City, Kuwait. The reason why we had the Skype call was because the children we talked to were learning English as a second language. They asked us about ourselves so they could write biographies on us to help them with their English. They were very nice, funny and asked some of us strange questions such as " Are you in a relationship?" and " Do you have a boyfriend/girlfriend?". At the end, they sang us some Irish songs! We then sang "Olay! Olay Olay Olay! Olay! Olay! Olay! for them! It was so much fun and we all enjoyed it!
For the past few days we have been knitting with Val. She has been a huge help to everybody in room 12. We have been knitting mini hats for our upcoming fundraiser for South Sudan we also have been making friendship bracelets We are very thankful that Val has taught us how to knit. We hope to have Val back soon to help use knit again.

Our school is back and now it is time to talk about day 1. Firstly our school is back to normal after the building but the playground seems like a prison because they put up a fence between the junior infants , senior infants and first class pupils and the other students and also there is a new teacher called Ms . Waldrin . The first day is mainly just organizing books but we did get to do a weird bingo where you had to ask people questions and to win you had to fill every box also we are studying South Sudan . As an activity we are weaving things with wool which I had to miss to wright this blog well I guess it is the life of a journalist.
So I will see all you readers in the next post .... ..... oh wait that does not work goodbye then? This is when we went to Cavan. It was in the WW1 Museum. It was in Ballyjamesduff. When we got there, we first met our tour guide Michael. He brought us upstairs into a room with a chest full of soldiers clothes, plaques, soldier's boots, the German's soldier hat and British soldier's hats etc. And, there was also putties which were wrapped around soldier's boots so rocks wouldn't get into their boots or shoes. Then we went into a room with medals, stretchers, a propeller, more plaques, soldier uniform's, bombs, bullets and grenades. Then we went into the trenches. In the trenches there were sand bags for guard, there also was a first aid station, a front line and a gun firing area. We had lots of fun there and we thank Ms. Coburn for bringing us there. THANK YOU!!!!!!
